Beyond Fate
Zara has spent her life pretending she can’t hear the whispers of the dead, terrified of the persecution that comes with magic. But when her younger brother is thrown into a brutal prison camp for powers he doesn’t possess, hiding is no longer an option.
Desperate to save him, Zara unleashes the abilities she’s spent years suppressing — and instantly draws the eye of Emperor Balor, whose darkness is as hungry as it is powerful.
Every use of her magic pulls him closer and unravels her from the inside out.
But to free Hatch, Zara will have to embrace the very darkness she’s always feared. As she wields the only power capable of saving him, she discovers that her magic comes at a cost, and the price is her soul.
